Daniel Kvist / Work / TietoEVRY

TietoEVRY creates purposeful technology that reinvents the world for good.

Back in 2019, Scandinavia’s leading tech company TietoEVRY realized that they didn't have a systematic way to manage innovation activities and lacked a proper innovation strategy that enables the organization to capture, cultivate and validate innovation ideas and initiatives from a customer-centric and business perspective. As a response to that TietoEVRY created an Innovation Center to function as a North Star for managing innovation capabilities and establish common practices.

My assignment was to establish and manage a recurring Business Incubation Program based on a customer-centric approach to validate concepts and to create a viable business case prepared for a smooth transfer into the development and launch phases. I was responsible to facilitate the selection of ideas according to criteria with stakeholders and business owners and coaching innovation teams through the 10 weeks program and making sure the stakeholders and teams were aligned and managed to come up with customer-centric and innovative solutions backed by a viable business case.

I also was part of the team developing a TietoEVRY's co-innovation framework. A best practice framework built on the Innovation Managment ISO-standard covering a complete innovation journey  from ideas to development and launch.
